ÄÄNI-kollektiivi is a concept and an artistic collective that has since 2015, especially in Eastern and Central Finland, created several sonic and collective artistic realities.

Since 2016 ÄÄNI-kollektiivi has acted as the resident ensemble at the Kaivos festival. The collective has collaborated with, among others photographer Meeri Koutaniemi, actor Esa-Matti Smolander, poet Mohamed Ahmed Haji Omar, baritone David Hackston, baritone Benjamin Kirk, soprano Iida Antola and the dance program class at the Vocational School Riveria at Outokumpu. ÄÄNI has visited for example Maukkulan Mustikkamäki at Ilomantsi, Pöntsö at Kittilä, International Congress of the Finno-Ugric Peoples at Lahti, Tampere Student Theatre at Tampere Biennale, Plateau Gallery at Greenhouse Berlin, Vanha Kurimo at Suomussalmi, Helsinki Music Centre and Höljäkän nuorisoseurantalo at Nurmes.
